Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels hungrier than ever to deliver another Barclays Premier League title after 19 years at the club, and believes the current squad has all the ingredients to succeed this season. The Arsenal manager answered a question from the floor which criticised the team’s performances in Europe. He added: “We have the ingredients, now we must produce it week in and week out, that is what is at stake until the end of the season.” Sanchez remains central to hopes for both club and country, netting a stunning goal against United a fortnight ago to take his tally to six in three for Arsenal. The former Barcelona man provided vital goals for Chile in their opening 2018 World Cup qualifiers, scoring in the win over Brazil and then following up with a brace in Tuesday’s 4-3 victory over Peru. Sanchez is set to land back in London later on Thursday afternoon, but had been in touch to report no issues from the slight hip problem which saw him coming off towards the end of the 3-0 rout of United. With the likes of Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero and team-mate David Silva both picking up injuries while away, Wenger hopes Arsenal might just have avoided a similar setback. “You could see Sanchez was a bit touched against Man United, we took him off straight away,” Wenger said at the AGM. “He comes back today at 2pm, and we don’t know what kind of shape he will be in because his own (Chile) coach said he played the last two games not completely fit. That means he could have damaged more, and we will have to deal with it.” Arsenal could be boosted by the return of centre-back Laurent Koscielny, who has been out since the end of September with a hamstring injury. Midfielders Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini are also in contention. Wenger reported at his press conference which preceded the AGM that England duo Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck, would continue their rehabilitation following leg and knee surgery respectively. Wenger added: “They are progressing well. Jack Wilshere is still one month away at least (from being back in full training) and Danny Welbeck at the earliest will be back beginning of January.” “We are now equipped around the whole team to say we are really advanced in the way we work, prepare and develop players,” Wenger told the AGM. “I know you want to ask me – will we win the championship this year? I think we are back in contention and we have a good chance. “All of our numbers confirm that we have the potential to be in the fight. “We had a bad start, but have still managed to come back to within two points of the leaders. We have created consistency, what we have to do now is be able to win the big games. “We have potential to do more and will fight very hard. “I know I have faced some adversities, but I am more motivated than ever, more committed than ever. “I am resolute to commit until the last day of my contract here to bring back big success to this club and leave this club in the position it can do even better when I leave.” Wenger sees no reason why the players cannot rise to the challenge in 2016. Wenger, 65, addressed the annual general meeting at the Emirates on Thursday morning, where a range of issues from ticket prices, the state of the club accounts to the beer served on match-days and defending at corners were raised. Arsenal resume domestic action at Watford on Saturday following the international break having beaten Manchester United 3-0 to sit second in the Premier League table and Wenger is confident the likes of Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez can help fire the Gunners towards a first title since the Invincibles of 2003-04. American PC peripherals and hardware company Corsair has signed a deal with Korean League of Legends team ROX Tigers, it was announced on Friday. As part of the deal, the ROX Tigers will utilise Corsair peripherals, as the gaming hardware brand looks to crack into the Korean market. As a result, ROX have an agreement in place to exclusively use Corsair keyboards, mice, and mouse pads for upcoming games. The company also manufactures other products such as solid state drives, CPU cooling systems, and more.Nam Goong-il, Executive Director of the ROX Tigers, said that they were “very happy” with the arrangement. “We are very familiar with the passion and hard work Corsair puts into its gaming products, so I’m proud that our team will be part of spreading Corsair’s reputation,” he said.“The ROX Tigers team knows how important gaming gear is for players, and thus have chosen to use Corsair products, and we support and believe in the bright future Corsair will have in the future of the esports industry.”The ROX Tigers participate in the League Champions Korea (LCK), where they finished the summer split in seventh place. In 2015 they were World Championship finalists, and in 2016 they lost a competitive semi-final, before they were weakened by a disbanding roster that November. Fellow Korean powerhouse SKT T1 emerged as champions on both occasions.Esports Insider says: For a team that struggled to attract sponsors as one of the most successful lineups in global League of Legends, to now sign a deal with an established hardware company such as Corsair is a promising achievement. Similarly, Corsair gaining a partner with strong roots in the scene leaves them with a strong footing as they look to tackle the Korean market.
